What dental services does City Point Dental offer?
-
Does City Point Dental treat children?
Absolutely! We welcome patients of all ages and provide gentle, upbeat pediatric dental care designed to help kids feel comfortable from the start. Our team explains what’s happening in kid-friendly language and keeps the experience positive, helping little patients develop healthy habits without making dental visits feel like a big, scary ordeal.
-
Does City Point Dental offer a membership plan?
Yes. The City Point Dental Membership Plan gives patients without dental insurance a straightforward way to budget for care. Child, adult, and periodontal plans include routine preventative services, one emergency exam, and 15% savings on other procedures and treatments. There are no deductibles, annual maximums, preapprovals, or unpleasant insurance gymnastics.
-
Does City Point Dental accept dental insurance?
We work with most major PPO insurance providers, including Delta Dental Premier, Cigna, Guardian, MetLife PDP, and UnitedHealthcare. Some Medicare plans are also accepted, but we do not accept Medicaid. Because every plan is different, contact us before your appointment. We’ll check your coverage and help you get the most from your benefits.
-
What dental financing options are available?
City Point Dental offers flexible financing through Sunbit®, Cherry, CareCredit®, and Proceed Finance®. These third-party options let qualified patients divide eligible out-of-pocket treatment costs into more manageable payments. Our team can explain the choices available, but we promise not to make you sit through a finance lecture.
-
Are any special offers available for new patients?
Yes. Patients without dental insurance can take advantage of a $150 new patient special that includes a comprehensive tooth-by-tooth exam, X-rays, an AI diagnostic scan, a head and neck oral cancer screening, and a cleaning when clinically appropriate. New patients with dental insurance may also receive a complimentary whitening kit. Contact us to confirm eligibility and current offer details.
-
What are City Point Dental’s office hours?
Our Hopewell dental office is open Monday and Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Wednesday and Thursday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Those early appointments make it a little easier to fit dental care into your day before work, school, and everything else on the family calendar.
-
How early should I arrive for my first appointment?
Please arrive about 15 minutes early to complete your forms at the office. Your first visit typically lasts 60–90 minutes, giving us plenty of time to get to know you, understand your concerns, and complete a thorough evaluation without rushing.
-
What should I bring to my first dental appointment?
Please bring your dental insurance card, if applicable, along with a list of your current medications and supplements. You should also bring any completed new patient forms and questions or concerns you want to discuss. Finally, please bring your favorite dental joke—yes, really.
-
Does City Point Dental offer same-day appointments?
We accept emergency appointments and can usually see new patients quickly. When the schedule allows, we may also provide same-day fillings, crowns, extractions, or dental implants following an emergency exam or hygiene visit. Availability varies, so schedule online or call our office to find the earliest appointment.
-
Does City Point Dental offer sedation dentistry?
Yes. We offer nitrous oxide and minimal oral sedation for patients who need extra help feeling relaxed during treatment. Minimal oral sedation combines nitrous oxide with prescribed anxiety-reducing medication. We do not currently provide IV sedation. Our team will review your health history and treatment needs to determine whether sedation is right for you.
-
What should I expect after dental treatment?
We’ll provide clear instructions based on the procedure you received, including how to manage discomfort, protect the treatment area, and support healing at home. If anything feels unusual or you’re unsure whether something is normal, call us. We’d much rather answer your question than leave you consulting the internet at 2 a.m.
